Used Car Sales Manager

American Fleet Inc. is hiring an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to oversee used vehicle sales operations in Westminster, Maryland (onsite). This role manages the full sales cycle, from online listings and lead follow-up through documentation, financing support, and ongoing customer communication.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for driving used car sales by coordinating online marketing, responding to inquiries across multiple channels, scheduling appointments and test drives, and ensuring each transaction is completed accurately. The position also includes working with financing banks to help customers complete vehicle financing documentation and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage vehicle listings on Facebook Marketplace and other online sales platforms.
• Take high-quality vehicle photographs and write professional vehicle descriptions.
• Verify vehicle details including mileage, options, condition, and title status.
• Review CARFAX reports and confirm supporting vehicle documentation.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, text, email, Facebook Marketplace, and other channels.
• Manage incoming leads, follow up with prospective buyers, and convert inquiries into sales.
• Provide accurate information on vehicle availability, pricing, and financing options.
• Schedule appointments, conduct vehicle presentations, and coordinate test drives.
• Verify driver’s licenses and complete required test-drive documentation.
• Negotiate and close sales within company pricing guidelines.
• Maintain consistent customer communication throughout the sales process.
• Manage the complete vehicle sales documentation workflow.
• Work directly with financing banks to assist customers with vehicle financing.
• Prepare financing applications and gather required supporting documentation.
• Complete purchase agreements, title paperwork, and other sales documents.
• Ensure all customer information and documentation are accurate and complete.
• Coordinate completed sales with management and administrative partners.
• Maintain organized records of vehicle sales and financing transactions.

Required Qualifications

• Automotive sales experience, preferably in used vehicle sales.
• 2 years of automotive sales experience (required).
• Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple customers, sales leads, and transactions.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers, online marketplaces, and sales management systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and manage the complete sales process.
• Location requirement: Westminster, MD 21157 (required).

Compensation & Commission

Pay Range: $72,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year

Guaranteed Base Salary: $48,000 per year ($4,000 per month)

• Uncapped commission on every vehicle personally sold.
• Monthly commission structure: Vehicles 1–10: $200 per vehicle; Vehicles 11–15: $300 per vehicle; Vehicles 16–20: $400 per vehicle; Vehicles 21+: $500 per vehicle.
• Commissions are calculated progressively, using the applicable tier rate for each vehicle.
• No commission cap. Higher monthly sales increase earning potential.

YOUR EARNING POTENTIAL:

• 10 Vehicles: $6,000 Monthly; $72,000 Annual
• 15 Vehicles: $7,500 Monthly; $90,000 Annual
• 20 Vehicles: $9,500 Monthly; $114,000 Annual
• 25 Vehicles: $12,000 Monthly; $144,000 Annual
