Vendor Business Development

The Vendor Business Development role in the Equipment Finance sector focuses on developing and presenting financing solutions to equipment manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and resellers. This remote position serves the Northeast markets across multiple industrial sectors.

Position Details

• Location: Newark, NJ (Remote)
• Salary: USD 80,000 to 135,000 per year
• Experience required: Minimum 5 years in Industrial Equipment Finance Sales

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with equipment vendors and their customers to design and present financing programs for a diverse range of equipment
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and resellers in the equipment sector
• Promote financing services to prospective clients through outbound calls and marketing materials to cultivate regional reseller relationships
• Provide ongoing support for existing manufacturer programs by following up and managing active transactions
• Expedite the progression of ongoing transactions to drive timely closings
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and monitor service levels for vendors and lessees
• Requires knowledge of the job area obtained through education and experience
• Utilize existing business relationships with equipment vendors
• Minimum five years of prior Industrial Equipment Finance Sales experience is required
• Demonstrate highly competent, executive-level sales negotiating and closing skills
• Maintain a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Ability to work independently and achieve set objectives
