Join Allergan Aesthetics in California as a regional leader for body contouring consumables. This onsite role in Sacramento leads the Practice Development team to boost utilization and meet regional sales quotas for CoolSculpting consumables. Expect significant travel, up to 70 percent of your time, and a compensation package that includes a base range of USD 124,500 to 236,500 per year plus long term incentive programs. Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and utilization quota results in the assigned region by driving effective territory penetration, coverage, and account identification for the company’s consumable products
- Build and sustain supportive, productive relationships across all organizational levels
- Develop, direct, and manage a regional Practice Development team focused on account development and management with increased utilization and practice integration as primary objectives
- Cultivate luminary and key account relationships
- Develop and execute the regional business plan and sales objectives
- Attract, train, manage, and retain top performers in the aesthetic marketplace
- Oversee all aspects of the region including recruiting, training, coaching, and maintaining team morale
- Train and support device sales in a capital equipment environment when needed
- Monitor and optimize regional marketing, customer service, and sales support
- Set realistic goals and action plans for Practice Support Specialists and for the region
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and competitive products
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and meetings
- Maintain compliance with quality and regulatory guidelines as part of everyday operations
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Regional Sales Director on territory matters and forecasting
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and uphold high standards of integrity, ethics, loyalty, and professionalism
- Support and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful practice integration of the CoolSculpting Procedure and high customer satisfaction
- Travel to cover the region, including multi-night stays, tradeshows, and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher required
- 3+ years of successful sales management experience in the aesthetic consumable, cosmeceutical, filler, or similar B2B model is preferred
- 4–6 years of demonstrated success selling medical products or services to physicians or other health care providers is preferred, with a preference for experience with plastic surgeons and dermatology
- High integrity and honesty in all dealings
- Willingness to work in a startup-like, high-activity environment
- Proven ability to attract, motivate, engage, and retain high-performing sales professionals
- Strong customer service orientation with a track record of advancing practice integration of the CoolSculpting Procedure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with physicians, management, and large groups
- Ability to explain product attributes clearly using professional selling and closing techniques
- Positive attitude and passion for the aesthetic field
- Proficiency with word processing, databases, and software programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of FDA GMPs and ability to operate in a controlled regulatory environment
- Willingness to travel up to 70 percent, including overnight stays
- Home office capability with reliable high speed internet
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Compliance with FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485, Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements
