Business Development & Account Manager

Dorell Fabrics offers a hybrid work setup in High Point, NC, with an annual salary of USD 60,000 to 80,000. This role centers on developing new business and nurturing long‑term relationships within the furniture and fabric industry, spanning showroom operations, merchandising, and coordinating product efforts for High Point markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across North Carolina and the East Coast.
• Grow and maintain relationships with furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, jobbers, retailers, and design customers.
• Represent the High Point showroom and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Support showroom setup and merchandising for the four annual High Point Furniture Markets.
• Coordinate with the Dallas Product Development team to address customer needs and new collections.
• Help expand the outdoor fabric business and other strategic product categories.
• Track follow-ups, quotes, and overall sales activity to drive momentum.
• Collaborate as a dependable team member and contribute wherever needed.

Requirements

• Experience in furniture, textiles, fabrics, home furnishings, or a related industry is preferred.
• Background in business development or account management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel throughout North Carolina and the East Coast.
• Merchandising experience and knowledge of upholstery or outdoor fabrics are a plus.
