Business Development Director
Job Description
The Business Development Director role at Tata Consultancy Services in Chicago focuses on driving revenue growth within the Healthcare Business Process Services (BPS) practice. - Provide market and go-to-market leadership as an AI powered business operations initiative, collaborating across strategy, offerings, opportunity creation, and conversion to deliver exceptional client value and expand the practice.
- Foster client engagement and executive relationships by establishing trusted connections with client executives, diagnosing pain points, positioning tailored solutions, and leading C-level discussions centered on cost reduction, operational resilience, compliance, and member/provider experience.
- Lead solutioning and cross-functional efforts by partnering with solution build teams to develop capabilities, prototypes, and collateral for demonstrations and execution, translating client pain points into commercially viable solutions.
- Monitor market intelligence and shape competitive positioning by tracking healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings; craft responses to RFPs/RFIs with clear differentiation from traditional BPO, captives/GCCs, and digital vendors; provide leadership with portfolio feedback and investment priorities.

- Proven track record in selling outsourced services, managed services, or BPaaS style offerings, and in closing large, complex healthcare deals valued at $10M+ in total contract value.
- Ability to leverage technology, data, analytics, and AI to create intelligent, automated, and autonomous operations, with the ability to articulate ROI, cost takeout, improvements to member and provider experience, quality enhancement, and risk mitigation.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, including the ability to develop and present executive-level materials and maintain sustained client partnerships.
- Experience bringing together diverse company capabilities to deliver solutions aligned with client goals, with a passion for collaborating across account teams, industry groups, and consulting functions.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding results in challenging environments, with a strong sense of ownership, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
