Job Description

Field-based outside sales and business development role with Tigon Golf Carts, onsite in Swanton, OH, offering USD 360 - 720 per week and a flexible schedule focused on growing sales, rentals, service, and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate contact with prospective commercial clients to identify opportunities
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new leads and opportunities
  • Provide timely, organized follow-up with prospects and customers
  • Promote golf cart solutions including sales, rentals, service, financing options, accessories, warranties, and related services
  • Visit businesses, communities, campgrounds, event venues, apartment complexes, sports and entertainment facilities
  • Represent Tigon Golf Carts in a professional manner while in the field
  • Learn and apply Tigon product details, pricing, services, and the quoting process
  • Use Tigon systems to track leads, quotes, notes, and customer activity
  • Coordinate with headquarters when quotes, inventory, pricing, or approvals are needed
  • Attend trade shows, demo days, local events, and customer meetings when approvals are in place
  • Help cultivate long-term commercial relationships for the company
  • Actively pursue trade shows, demo days, pop-up sales, and local event opportunities
  • Keep promotional materials, business cards, and customer-facing information current and professional

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Comfort with regular local travel
  • Willingness to travel overnight when approved or required
  • Professional, reliable, and well organized demeanor
  • Ability to communicate clearly by phone, text, email, and in person
  • Ability to learn Tigon’s products, pricing, and services
  • Proficiency with computer systems and basic software
  • Maintain a professional appearance while representing the company
  • Background checks, motor vehicle record checks, drug testing, reference checks, or employment verification may be part of the hiring process
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales or business development experience
