Responsibilities
- Independently source and qualify national opportunities across commercial verticals, with a focus on S&P 500 companies
- Initiate and lead client conversations from first contact through discovery, proposal, and term sheet
- Partner with executive leadership to negotiate commercial documents toward binding agreements
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline independently, prioritizing quality over volume
- Develop tailored proposals and external communications
- Learn the fundamentals of the product, plus siting, licensing, and utility energy considerations to speak credibly with customers and move deals forward
- Represent Radiant's mission, values, and brand in every customer interaction
Requirements
- Proven ability to independently source national opportunities, not just manage inbound leads
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- US citizen or green card holder
- Ability to travel and attend in-person meetings
- Onsite work at the El Segundo headquarters is required
- Willingness to travel for short trips (conferences, customer meetings) 2–3 times per month
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Compensation
Compensation range: $115,000 – $168,000 per year, plus a substantial incentive stock plan for all full-time employees.
