Business Development Manager
Job Description
The Business Development Manager role at ForMotion Clinic in Mobile, Alabama, sits at the intersection of growth and patient care. This onsite position focuses on sustainable financial expansion through increasing patient referrals and forging strong relationships with physicians, surgeons, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with current and prospective referral sources, including physicians, healthcare organizations, allied health professionals, and payers.
- Contribute to the organization’s financial growth, with emphasis on the defined market.
- Build and nurture relationships with both existing and new referral sources.
- Assist in the design and rollout of a referral tracking system.
- Coordinate educational in-services, formal and informal meetings, and social events.
- Leverage marketing experience to integrate efforts within targeted systems or groups.
- Help identify and establish contacts within physician practices and hospital networks.
- Promote ForMotion initiatives and rehabilitative programs to external customers.
- Maintain professional standards and deliver exceptional customer experiences for internal and external stakeholders.
- Increase brand visibility in the market.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and report trends or data gleaned from research to leadership.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a healthcare-related field; or an associate degree with relevant experience.
- Three to five years of experience in P&O or another healthcare-related field.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral (including telephone) and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel independently.
