Job Description
IMH is in search of a driven Business Development Professional to expand our client roster for warehouse solutions. Based on site in Delran, New Jersey, this role partners with the sales team to identify opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and promote our offerings to fuel growth. The position features a base salary of $40,000 per year plus commission potential and a path for professional development within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industries that require warehouse solutions.
- Build and sustain robust relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to uncover trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Present and demonstrate IMH product solutions effectively to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to craft strategies and sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to raise IMH's profile and generate leads.
- Track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for product improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the warehouse solutions or material handling space.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and storage solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
