Job Description
Based in South Brunswick Township, NJ, this onsite role combines base pay with uncapped quarterly commissions to drive lead generation, referral development, and territory growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and nurture relationships with prospective referral sources such as pediatricians, school counselors, therapists, daycare directors, and nonprofit leaders.
- Plan and execute outbound outreach through on-site visits, networking events, cold introductions, and field drop-ins.
- Maintain a steady weekly prospecting routine to uncover new opportunities, support market-share expansion, and diversify referrals.
- Evaluate lead potential, partner alignment, and readiness for engagement, and document findings.
- Record outreach activity, visit notes, referrals, and contacts in Salesforce on a daily basis.
- Maintain clear visibility into referral status, outcomes, and lead aging across accounts.
- Uphold the integrity of the referral pipeline, including follow-up cadences, touchpoint tracking, and conversion insights.
- Collaborate with Admissions and Sales Operations to remove conversion barriers and optimize the funnel.
- Deploy outreach strategies aligned with territory goals, visit coverage expectations, and market-penetration priorities.
- Analyze referral patterns and territory performance to refine targeting efforts.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers to pinpoint underperforming pockets and high-growth zones.
- Plan and lead field events, education sessions, and outreach activities that drive lead generation and awareness.
- Represent the organization at school fairs, health expos, nonprofit gatherings, and similar events with growth intent.
- Capture leads on-site, document contact data, and manage follow-up or handoffs to internal teams.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate events that may occur early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
- Work closely with Growth, Marketing, and Admissions to ensure aligned messaging and effective lead handoffs.
- Submit regular outreach reports, territory updates, and event summaries.
- Participate in weekly sales calls, coaching check-ins, and training sessions.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field sales, outreach, or business development.
- Proven ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and meet performance targets.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Salesforce or similar CRM experience is required.
- Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
