Job Description

Join Nextiva at our Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters for an entry level Business Development Representative role that centers on outbound prospecting, multi-channel outreach, and close collaboration with Account Executives to drive top of funnel activity. You will leverage AI powered tools to research prospects, tailor messages, and accelerate outreach, while gaining hands on experience in a dynamic tech sales environment. Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through a 100% outbound motion
  • Engage prospects through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
  • Qualify leads using the SPICED methodology
  • Consistently manage daily activities to meet lead volume and pipeline generation targets
  • Proactively learn and articulate the value of Nextiva’s products and services
  • Partner with Account Executives to drive top of funnel activity and support revenue growth
  • Leverage AI powered tools (ChatGPT, internal AI platforms, and sales intelligence tools) to enhance prospect research, personalize outreach, and improve outbound efficiency

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales, customer facing, or competitive experience preferred (internships, athletics, leadership roles, or other performance driven environments are valued)
  • Experience in SaaS, CRM, Platform Sales, Technology, or related industries preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
  • Tech savvy and energized by learning new tools and solutions
  • Comfortable using AI tools professionally (generating messaging, building outreach sequences, and streamlining prospecting workflows)
  • Curious about emerging AI technologies and motivated to experiment with new tools to improve productivity and prospect engagement
  • Curious about business challenges and motivated to help organizations succeed
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Energetic, engaging, and able to quickly build rapport and trust
