Job Description

SMS is hiring an Outside Sales Territory Representative in Sandusky, OH (onsite). This commission-only sales role combines protected territory with pre-set appointments, plus ongoing training and support to help you build residual income. The target for your first year is $100K to $110K, with potential for high six-figure commissions.

Compensation

  • Commission-only with residual income
  • Daily cash bonuses

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare for appointments received from your assistant the day before, with local travel
  • Lead 3 to 4 sales appointments daily with owners of small to medium sized businesses
  • Market and secure a Business Analysts a Survey Agreement
  • Provide feedback to the Business Coordinator and share new business lead opportunities from your conversations
  • Review daily wins and challenges with your Sales Manager to receive sales support as needed

Administrative support is designed to be invested in your success, so you can focus on effective outreach and appointment outcomes.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of business ownership experience and/or 3+ years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; SMS will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined, able to work with little or no supervision
  • Outgoing communication style with strength in building relationships, especially with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to uncover the real “pain” a client may be experiencing
  • Ability to begin work immediately
