Job Description

Join SMS as an Outside Sales Territory Representative in State College, PA (onsite). This role offers a commission-only structure with residual income and daily cash bonuses, with $100,000 to $110,000 in realistic first-year earnings and strong upside including high six-figure commissions. You will also get protected territory and pre-set appointments, plus training and support designed to help you build momentum from day one.

What you’ll be doing

  • Prepare for appointments received from your assistant the day prior; travel is local.
  • Lead 3 to 4 sales appointments daily with owners of small to medium sized businesses to market and secure a Business Analysts a Survey Agreement.
  • Provide feedback to the Business Coordinator after each appointment and share new business lead opportunities.
  • Review successes and challenges with your Sales Manager to gain sales support as needed, with administrative support available and invested in your success.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of business ownership experience and/or 3+ years of face-to-face direct sales experience.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined, able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
  • Outgoing style with proven relationship-building skills, especially with business owners, presidents, and CEOs.
  • Strong communication and listening abilities to identify the real needs or “pain” a client is experiencing.
  • Ability to begin work immediately.
  • High school or equivalent (required); bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary if experience is a strong match.

Compensation and benefits

  • Commission-only with residual income and daily cash bonuses; $100K-$110K realistic first-year earnings.
