Job Description
FedEx is seeking a Business Development Specialist for an onsite role in Syracuse, NY.
Responsibilities
- Close new business opportunities by researching potential customers and evaluating fit.
- Discuss the customer’s supply chain with decision makers and other relevant representatives.
- Analyze customer needs to tailor solutions.
- Develop and implement value propositions and customized pricing aligned with customer requirements.
- Maintain regular, proactive communication with managers, sales peers, and related colleagues to support joint sales efforts and lead generation.
- Navigate cross-functional processes to coordinate support and solutions with internal teams for a seamless customer experience and incremental revenue.
- Produce and present competitive and market-based pricing using mid to senior level negotiation skills.
- Collaborate with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas to identify issues and implement strategies for revenue retention and growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency
Pay range: $4,331.25 per month to $8,187.50 per month
Additional Details
- This is a customer-facing role that requires regular in-person meetings
- Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Syracuse, NY or surrounding cities within the territory
Job Conditions
- Moderate overnight travel required
