Job Description
On-site Business Development Specialist at US Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, offering a salary range of USD 108,019 to 140,426 per year, providing guidance to NASA procurement staff and external customers across NASA centers and other government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex business development and partnership activities, including opportunity identification, pursuit and capture of partnerships, planning, proposal development, and creation of partnership products and presentations.
- Research and assess new business opportunities and practices for NASA program and mission execution to cultivate partnerships with potential partners and future tenants.
- Evaluate and manage business development, outreach, and new initiatives as well as programs and projects impacting broad mission areas.
- Recommend new business development activities aligned with NASA competencies and strategic goals.
- Serve as the primary contact and interface for internal and external customers and all supporting organizations involved in business and partnership development activities.
- Participate in the development of partnership agreements and documents; execute agreements in compliance with agency rules and applicable authorities.
- Perform planning, agreement development, and all partnership coordination activities with consideration of feasibility, costs, and implementation factors.
- Gather, interpret, and analyze information on business, real estate, and property management topics to propose innovative solutions that support NASA missions and goals.
Requirements

- Minimum one year of relevant experience.
- No formal education qualification requirement.
- This position may require a one-year probationary period as determined by Title 5 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 11.
