- Promote Monarch Sky as the preferred insurance partner for a lender or broker borrower base, including co-marketing and referral arrangements when appropriate
- Educate lender partners and their loan officers on coverage details so they can introduce Monarch Sky to borrowers at loan closing or earlier in the deal cycle
- Manage and track a pipeline of lender and broker relationships, including referral volume, conversion, and retention
- Represent the company at industry events, lender conferences, and association meetings, including AAPL and local REIA chapters
- Coordinate cross-functionally with underwriting, marketing, and operations to support referred investors through quote to bind
- Collect market feedback on lender needs, competitor activity, pricing pressure, and coverage gaps to inform product and program development
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in the CRM and report regularly on progress against business development goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hard money/private lending, working directly with fix-and-flip, bridge, or DSCR loan investors as a loan officer, account executive, capital markets/business development professional, or similar
- An existing network of relationships with hard money lenders, lending funds, brokers, or investor groups that can be leveraged for referrals
- Working understanding of the fix-and-flip and DSCR investor lifecycle, including how deals are sourced, financed, rehabbed, and exited, and where insurance fits within that workflow
- Demonstrated experience building and managing referral or channel partnerships, ideally against revenue or production targets
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with comfort acting as a visible company representative to external partners
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and travel as needed for in-person relationship building
