Job Description

Client-facing Business Development and client service role focused on global institutional relationships and supporting firm growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong understanding of Qtron Investments’ quantitative approach and investment culture
  • Drive business growth through active networking with consultants and institutional investors
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance client relationships
  • Partner with the investment team to stay current on the firm’s latest research
  • Support the development and publication of white papers
  • Prepare client reporting and organize client meetings
  • Share research ideas, portfolio updates, and other relevant information with clients
  • Provide legal reviews for contractual matters
  • Demonstrate leadership and influence through active participation, including development of strategic distribution direction
  • Assist the CEO with planning, hiring, strategy execution, and building a high-performing culture

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years in a similar role, with experience representing a traditional asset manager or a hedge fund
  • Strong academic credentials; CFA and/or MBA strongly preferred
  • Intellectually sharp and curious, with innovative ideas
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and driven
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to understand and empathize with the audience
  • Credible presentations and clear communication; superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with a range of investment approaches, ideally including systematic approaches
  • Detailed understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Tech savvy, with the ability to get up to speed quickly on new technologies and software
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with analytical skills and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Job Summary

  • Coordinate closely with research, portfolio management, and operations to support high-level client service and firm growth
  • Represent the firm’s investments while supporting the early-stage growth of the company
