Job Description
This part-time, field-based role focuses on building referral partnerships and generating client referrals for in-home senior care in the San Jose area. The position is based in Santa Clara County and requires local travel across multiple territories.
Responsibilities
- Establish and sustain relationships with referral partners such as assisted living and independent living communities
- Foster ties with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and home health providers
- Engage with senior centers and community organizations to expand referral networks
- Conduct in-person visits weekly across all three assigned territories
- Introduce Seniors Helping Seniors services and clearly communicate the unique care model
- Plan and participate in community events, luncheons, and informational presentations
- Build, manage, and nurture a pipeline of referral partners
- Monitor outreach activities and follow-ups to ensure momentum
- Collaborate with leadership on messaging and strategic direction
- Generate consistent, qualified client referrals
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or community outreach
- Comfortable with in-person, relationship-based selling
- Self-starter who operates with minimal daily direction
- Strong communication and follow-up capabilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a sales pipeline
- Willing and able to travel locally across multiple territories
