Responsibilities
- Manage, consult and value sell company solutions to a customer base in a defined region
- Prospect and profitably grow business with new and existing customers, aiming to exceed annual budgets
- Demonstrate a proven track record of growing business by leveraging organized sales strategies and the ability to create and execute business plans
- Apply effective communication to lead internal discussions and deliver value-added customer solutions
- Negotiate and present customer proposals that align needs with delivered value
- Utilize the full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM systems; adapt to custom company software that complements the selling process
- Maintain industry knowledge related to commercial construction products and solutions; familiarity with the project workflow from architect/engineer to contractor is preferred
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to learn new processes, solutions and technology
- Act as a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Travel 50-70%
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science or a related field within the Commercial Builder Product Industry
- Industry-related experience required: 10+ years of sales experience in related industries; or equivalent experience in masonry or related fields in lieu of degree
- Proven track record of sales and profit growth
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office; some knowledge of graphic programs and the ability to use company software
- Familiarity with value selling or Counselor Salesperson approaches
