Health Sales Manager
Job Description
Kimball International offers a health market leadership role that centers on collaboration, real impact, and cross team momentum. This onsite position in Topeka, Kansas places you at the heart of health market growth in the Kansas City region. You will partner with the KII Sales Band Team to engage health end users and the health A&D community, reporting to the Regional Sales Director. Expect opportunities to shape showroom activations, participate in trade shows, and drive health-focused growth across key markets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all Sales Band Team members to craft targeted market strategies that expand health revenue.
- Identify health accounts within identified focused markets.
- Develop and cultivate relationships at the end user level within each health account in the focused markets.
- Conduct meetings with end users, including the Sales Band Team.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Sales Band Team.
- Activate showrooms in assigned focused markets.
- Bring in other Health resources as needed (Health Trade Marketing Manager, Health A&D Manager, Design Strategist, Federal Health Sales Manager).
- Contribute health knowledge, insights, and expertise to conversations and opportunities when valuable.
- Participate in approved trade shows and serve as the health vertical market expert.
- Utilize sampling to effectively promote Kimball International brands.
- Sell all Kimball International products into healthcare accounts.
- Educate distribution partners on healthcare opportunities and resources available for success in the health vertical.
- Operate within sampling and travel and entertainment budgets.
- Work with Market Sales Managers to forecast health opportunities.
- Identify and service the A&D Community within health opportunities.
- Maintain necessary communication with the Regional Sales Director.
Requirements
- Candidate must be located in Kansas City, KS and provide support to the Kansas City, St. Louis, and Omaha markets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of sales and/or design experience in the healthcare market.
- Prior experience or knowledge of Kimball International products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual presentation and collaboration software.
