Job Description

Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, the Insurance Sales Development Representative role is an onsite opportunity presented by Kegel LLC on behalf of Etuk Agency. This position targets growth-minded licensed professionals who will build client relationships, service accounts, and secure new business, earning a base salary plus commissions. It requires active licensing and a proactive approach to meeting sales and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategies and promote new insurance contracts or propose changes to existing policies.
  • Build productive relationships to create a pipeline of prospective clients from networking, referrals, cold outreach, and other sources.
  • Assess business or individual clients' needs and financial situations to propose protection plans that fit their criteria.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement risk management strategies aligned with their risk profiles.
  • Maintain active Property & Casualty and Life/Health licenses.
  • Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products and services to better serve clients.
  • Fulfill all policy requirements and compliance protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an insurance agent or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of insurance plans, including automobile, fire, life, property, and medical coverage.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic statistical analyses.
  • Track record of working toward and achieving goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, influence, and sales abilities.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions and building lasting relationships.
  • HS diploma or higher.
  • Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty and Life/Health licenses within 30-45 days of hire.
  • Direct sales: 1 year required.
