Job Description
Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking and Capital Markets team is seeking an International Equity Distribution Sales Director to be based on-site in Columbus, New York. The role centers on executing the equity distribution strategy across international markets, conducting trading activities, and delivering market insights to clients while expanding relationships and cross-selling other bank products. The position carries a remuneration range of USD 250,000 to 300,000 per year.
Overview
Our Investment Banking and Capital Markets group provides a full spectrum of advisory and capital markets services for large-cap and mid-cap corporates as well as financial sponsors. The offering encompasses comprehensive financial advisory and capital-raising support, including mergers and acquisitions and restructuring guidance, underpinned by a substantial debt and equity capital markets platform. The global footprint enables complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and cross-border execution.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Record transactions and, when appropriate, prepare related statistical reports.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers to support distribution efforts.
- Maintain knowledge of trading strategies and measure performance against division targets.
- Possess potential accountability for meeting P/L targets, actively manage trading positions within authorized limits, monitor limit utilization, and ensure accurate trade capture in line with policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Origination and Portfolio Management, manage key internal and external relationships, and represent the bank at relevant industry forums as needed.
- Develop and sustain client relationships while delivering high-value financial analysis to a targeted set of clients and prospects.
- Work with internal teams to cross-sell additional bank products.
- Identify prospective clients and cultivate relationships to drive future sales and repeat business.
- Demonstrate experience working with senior management and maintain confidentiality.
- Show leadership, take initiative, and assume responsibility to foster a productive work environment.
- Promote open communication and collaborative problem-solving within the team.

- Extensive network and deep product and market knowledge within the equity distribution arena.
- Proven ability to independently service multiple clients, manage competing priorities, and generate substantial revenue.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the capacity to identify client and market problems, address challenges, and capitalize on opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate a diverse team toward exceptional results.
