Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, delivering solutions that address international logistics and supply chain needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and management to develop sales strategies that improve lead conversion and customer retention.
- Present and promote the company’s full suite of services, including customs brokerage, ocean freight forwarding (80%), and air freight forwarding (20%), plus other logistics solutions.
- Negotiate and close contracts with new and existing clients to establish profitable partnerships.
- Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of sales or business development experience in the freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry.
- Proven track record of securing and growing accounts in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight pricing, shipping routes, and global trade compliance.
- Experience in customs brokerage regulations and documentation requirements is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively to achieve sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales management tools for tracking activities and reporting progress.
- Fluent in English; bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
