Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, delivering solutions that address international logistics and supply chain needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and management to develop sales strategies that improve lead conversion and customer retention.
  • Present and promote the company’s full suite of services, including customs brokerage, ocean freight forwarding (80%), and air freight forwarding (20%), plus other logistics solutions.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with new and existing clients to establish profitable partnerships.
  • Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales or business development experience in the freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry.
  • Proven track record of securing and growing accounts in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight pricing, shipping routes, and global trade compliance.
  • Experience in customs brokerage regulations and documentation requirements is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales management tools for tracking activities and reporting progress.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
