Responsibilities
- Cultivate, grow, and maintain customer relationships
- Create and execute customer engagement plans; serve as the primary contact for government and customer organizations; report results of customer activities and engagements
- Translate customer needs into specific requirements and tailor company services and solutions into offerings
- Support annual and long-range strategic planning
- Identify and manage a business pipeline of opportunities; assess near-term and long-term opportunities; align pursuit activities for optimal cost efficiency
- Lead responses to customer RFIs and support capture efforts for RFPs, including new franchise opportunities
- Provide observations and analysis of market trends and opportunities in the form of written reports and presentations
- Conduct market and opportunity research, analysis and business case development, including competitor analysis, opportunities, and budgets
- Identify key portfolio differentiators and win themes that create and shape new business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience, or 8 years with a Master’s; alternatively, equivalent military or business and program experience accepted in lieu of formal business development experience
- Experience in and established relationships with Cryptography, SIGINT, Offensive/Defensive Cyber and IC customer communities
- Knowledge of DoD/IC requirements, programming, budgeting, and acquisition processes
- Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail, strategic thinking with respect to customer needs, competitive positioning, and the ability to prioritze in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills that ensure collaborative and trusting relationships with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and technical experts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver executive level presentations
- Experience leading teams
- US Citizenship with a current TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph with the NSA
- Strong capture and opportunity pipeline management skills
