Job Description
The National Sales Director leads strategic partnerships to grow revenue, attendance, and brand awareness across Medieval Time Dinner and Tournament's group sales channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement national and local partnership strategies that boost attendance, revenue, and brand visibility.
- Identify new partnership opportunities through data analysis, market research, prospecting, and referrals.
- Represent Medieval Time Dinner and Tournament through cold calls, in person meetings, industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Foster a consultative sales approach that aligns with partner goals to drive mutual success.
- Increase revenue from existing accounts via active account management, discovery sessions, and relationship nurturing.
- Provide sales leadership and development to sales personnel as needed.
- Collaborate with corporate, operations, and sales teams nationwide to uncover opportunities, remove barriers, and support growth initiatives.
- Maintain a people-first culture through positive team and guest interactions.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor pricing, promotions, products, and experiences to guide sales processes and product offerings.
- Partner with the VP of Sales and the corporate sales team to support all sales initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in outbound sales development and business partnerships.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales management role.
- Technically savvy with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, LinkedIn, and other social media.
- Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships at a regional or national level.
- Proven ability to build relationships with organizations, associations, and community partners.
- Genuine enthusiasm for prospecting and outside sales.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
