Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will oversee MBCI's Commercial Roof & Wall within Shelter Solutions, directing a 10 to 12 member sales team across the western United States to expand market share and execute a three-year growth plan. This role is based in Salt Lake City, UT with remote work options and regular travel to support business needs.
Summary
Leading the western region for MBCI's Commercial Roof & Wall offerings within Shelter Solutions, this position guides a 10 to 12 person sales team across multiple western states to grow market presence and drive strategic revenue growth over a three-year horizon.
Responsibilities
- Set annual sales targets aligned with company objectives.
- Develop strategic sales plans anchored in corporate goals to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Business Development to translate project specifications into higher close ratios and margin expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to implement a coordinated go-to-market strategy for all commercial roof, wall, and related product solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field is required.
- A minimum of 10 years in a sales leadership role, including executive-level responsibilities, is required.
- Strong knowledge and experience selling technically oriented products.
- Equivalent experience in a similar industry or product field is preferred.
- Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead successfully in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and approaches.
- Proven track record of leading teams to execute strategy and deliver superior results.
- Remote office location is acceptable with regular travel to support the business.

Scope
- Directs a team of 10 to 12 sales managers across a broad geographic region.
- Oversees $50M to $75M in annual revenue with objectives to expand the portfolio 2 to 3 times within three years.
Essential Functions
- Develops an annual sales plan aligned with the MBCI organization strategy and objectives.
- Directs the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Ensures coordinated communications that support the sales plan objectives and align with marketing to meet budgetary requirements.
- Coordinate growth strategies with Business Development to expand market share for metal roof and wall on all building projects.
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
- Capable of leading integration initiatives to support an aggressive M&A strategy.
- Create a sales culture where exceptional customer service is the standard.
- Drive sales performance through acquisition and development of exceptional talent.
- Builds, develops and manages a sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
