Job Description
Owns and grows retail channel performance for Owens Corning within the Greater Atlanta region through customer engagement, in-store execution, and enterprise product adoption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales growth strategies in partnership with the Regional Sales Leader and Channel Marketing teams.
- Drive sales growth and expand market share across Owens Corning’s Enterprise product portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with retail store leadership and Pro Desk teams, including Millwork and Building Materials associates.
- Engage contractors, remodelers, and other retail ecosystem partners to support adoption and incremental volume.
- Lead in-store activities that increase product awareness and drive sell-through for launches, promotions, and special programs.
- Identify and develop opportunities with contractors and remodelers to generate incremental sales volume and regional growth.
- Quote, negotiate, and close large-volume opportunities to support sales and profitability within the territory.
- Support growth across Millwork, Installed Sales, Building Materials, and Pro channels through presentations, training, analytics, and customer engagement.
- Use sales data and market insights to find mix optimization opportunities and drive profitable product sales.
- Promote upselling and product mix strategies to improve margin and overall business results.
- Maintain merchandising, planogram, and retail execution standards across the assigned region.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support product training, education, and field execution activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor for customers, helping resolve product, warranty, and quality-related concerns.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Support teams to support timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work with leadership to enhance sales effectiveness and customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth and business development opportunities.
- Support team capability development through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Experience developing customer relationships and driving sales growth.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using sales data and market insights to support business decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and influence decision-making.
- Strong organizational and territory management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region.
