Retail Sales Manager

My Wireless, an AT&T Authorized Retailer, is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead an onsite team in West Covina, CA. This role combines hands-on store leadership with customer-focused coaching to drive strong sales results, maintain operational standards, and support account growth with AT&T.

You will oversee day-to-day store operations, develop team performance against Key Performance Indicators, and ensure the location delivers an exceptional customer experience. The manager position also supports community-based activities with AT&T and helps build a steady client base through ethical, customer-centric practices.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while exceeding sales targets.
• Supervise daily store operations, including hiring, scheduling, team development, and coaching to sustain strong sales and quality store operations.
• Drive location performance by coaching team members toward company-established Key Performance Indicators.
• Maintain staffing through employee retention, recruiting, and training and development.
• Build a steady client base using ethical, customer-centric business practices.
• Support business account growth by partnering with AT&T Signature on community events held outside the store.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment through inventory counts, securing devices, and merchandising aligned with company standards and policies.
• Maintain operational continuity by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
• Uphold the location’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Stay current on professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and building professional networks.

Requirements

• 1 year management experience in a similar field (required), preferably in the wireless industry.
• 1 year retail or customer-facing sales experience (required).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (required).
• Demonstrated ability to meet performance and operational standards (required).
• Ability to motivate, lead, and coach to results (required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (required).
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills (required).
• Bilingual (preferred, depending on location).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Retail or customer-facing telecommunications industry sales experience (preferred).
• Experience prospecting through outbound calls (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years of age, legally able to work in the US, and have a High School diploma or equivalent (required).

Physical Demands

• Most of the time is spent standing and walking around, moving about for prolonged periods, and occasionally lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Other movements may include climbing ladders, balancing on ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and fine handling of display materials and merchandise.
• Dexterity required.
• Vision requirements include working with small parts in mobile phones and looking at a computer screen for prolonged periods; needs may be met with eyeglasses or contacts.

Salary: USD 44,740 - 69,740 per year
