The Sales Development Representative will join Corporate Tools' New Inquiry Sales team in West Jordan, UT, handling inbound leads, uncovering opportunities, and guiding customers to the right tools and services. The role includes a 90-day in-office onboarding period to ensure a smooth ramp.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound inquiries and proactively engage prospective clients to present Corporate Tools services.
  • Understand client needs through active listening, present tailored solutions, and provide expert recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain trust with clients by displaying empathy and delivering a positive, engaging experience.
  • Manage leads through the sales funnel using the CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate data entry.
  • Stay up to date on the service range and industry trends to effectively communicate features and benefits.
  • Address client hesitations with thoughtful, strategic responses that steer conversations toward favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and contribute to team success.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Experience with phone sales for 7 hours a day.
  • Proven consultative sales experience, ideally in a call center or remote environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience using CRM tools and remote work software (for example, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams).
  • Demonstrated skill in creative problem solving and delivering tailored client solutions.
  • Commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience and building lasting client relationships.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and respond to changing client needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote setting.

Compensation

  • Wage: $40,000 per year (nonexempt) plus commission

Schedule and location

  • Location: West Jordan, UT 84084 (Hybrid remote in West Jordan)
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time (11:00 AM to 7:30 PM Eastern Time)
