Job Description
This entry-level Sales Development Representative role at the Durham Agency (Farmers Insurance) focuses on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and collaboration with licensed sales representatives to expand the sales pipeline. The position includes training and licensing toward insurance credentials.
Responsibilities
- Engage in high-volume outbound prospecting, verify client information, and coordinate email and text communications.
- Qualify leads to determine fit and potential opportunity for the sales team.
- Collaborate closely with licensed sales representatives to schedule meetings and create opportunities.
- Serve as the initial point of contact to establish rapport with prospects and nurture relationships.
- Strive to meet daily and monthly targets for outbound activity and pipeline development.
- Coordinate first-touch communications with prospects across multiple channels.
- Partner with the sales team to generate and advance sales opportunities.
- Aim to obtain Personal Lines and Life & Health licenses within six months to advance professional growth.
