At Bestergo, the Sales Director leads the North American home improvement retail and distribution sales with a hybrid work arrangement in Appling, Georgia. The role focuses on building a robust local channel network, guiding cross-regional teams, and executing market strategies to grow revenue and profitability across core retail channels and distribution partners.
Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, results-driven, and strategically minded Sales Director to lead our end-to-end retail and distribution sales growth across the North American home improvement and building materials market. This core leadership role is responsible for expanding our market footprint and building a complete local channel network for the company’s four core product lines, with mainstream retail partners including Home Depot and Lowe's.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive, market-adapted sales strategies for North American home improvement retail and building material distribution markets, fully aligning with the company’s overall business development, revenue and long-term growth goals.
- Lead, motivate and manage cross-regional sales teams, establish a standardized and efficient channel sales operation system, foster a high-performance, progressive team culture, and realize continuous improvement of team output and comprehensive capabilities.
- Focus on the in-depth development of North American home improvement retail channels, maintain long-term stable strategic cooperative relationships with core retail clients such as Home Depot and Lowe’s, continuously expand channel penetration and terminal sales scale, and deepen brand and product layout in mainstream retail terminals.
- Fully grasp the operation logic and market rules of the North American building materials and home goods distribution industry. Develop, manage and support regional distributors and wholesale partners, optimize the overall channel structure, formulate and standardize unified pricing systems and channel policies, and fully tap the incremental sales potential of offline distribution channels.
- Take full responsibility for the team’s annual sales volume, payment collection, gross profit and profitability targets. Dynamically monitor core operational indicators including channel sales volume, gross margin, operating cost and inventory status, timely adjust sales strategies and channel policies, and ensure the sustainable and healthy profitability of the regional business.
- Continuously track North American home improvement and building material market trends, terminal consumer demand changes, and competitors’ product layouts, pricing systems and promotion strategies. Regularly sort out and output professional market analysis reports to support corporate product iteration, pricing adjustment and channel marketing decision-making.
- Oversee the full-cycle B2B sales business, complete efficient customer outreach, business negotiation and order closing, strictly implement business standards, and ensure the steady completion of revenue targets. Independently lead high-value channel cooperation negotiations and large-scale customer project docking.
- Skilledly use Salesforce Cloud and other sales management systems, data analysis and reporting tools to monitor team performance and channel operation indicators in real time, summarize operational rules, form actionable optimization plans, and continuously improve sales efficiency and channel quality.
- Cooperate closely with the marketing team to unify brand promotion logic and channel marketing rhythm, jointly launch targeted market promotion activities, assist channel sales breakthroughs, and jointly expand regional market influence.
- Run through the whole sales process from customer development, channel docking to subsequent operation and maintenance, adhere to customer-centric service concepts, solve channel and customer operational problems in a timely manner, and build long-term stable strategic cooperative relationships.
Requirements
- Professional Channel Sales Experience: Possess mature outside sales experience in North American home improvement, building materials or retail distribution industries, with proven successful experience in large key account development, channel expansion and bulk order signing.
- Senior Team Management Capability: Have executive-level management experience, independently lead cross-regional sales or business development teams, with practical experience in team building, performance incentive and organizational management, capable of building high-execution and high-performance sales teams.
- Profound Industry & Channel Insight: In-depth understanding of North American B2B channel sales rules, retail and wholesale distribution operation modes, and enterprise-level key account business development strategies, familiar with local industry ecology and market characteristics.
- System & Data Operation Ability: Proficient in operating Salesforce CRM platform and various sales data statistics, analysis and reporting tools, capable of relying on data to sort out operational problems, predict market trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent Strategic Negotiation Ability: Possess top-level business negotiation capability and strategic thinking, accurately capture customer and channel demands, customize targeted cooperation solutions, and resolve complex channel operation and business cooperation problems.
- High-Pressure Rapid Iteration Adaptability: Rich experience in team management and channel strategy layout in fast-paced, high-growth business environments, able to quickly respond to market changes and adjust business strategies flexibly.
- Professional Data Analysis Literacy: Strong data analysis and sorting capability, able to interpret complex market data, sales data and inventory data, provide objective and accurate decision-making basis for business adjustment and market layout.
- Excellent Communication & Connection Capability: Outstanding business communication and expression skills, always adhere to customer-centric thinking, good at maintaining long-term strategic partnerships with retail merchants, distributors and industry stakeholders.
