Sales Director
Job Description
The Sales Director will lead the growth of MF7L by recruiting, training, and managing a 20-person sales team, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for a national youth football league.
Responsibilities
- Build and oversee a team of 20 Sales Associates, from recruitment through ongoing coaching and management.
- Lead regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to maintain high standards.
- Set clear sales goals and hold team members accountable for achieving results.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, discipline, and continuous improvement across the sales function.
- Generate new team registrations for MF7L events and leagues.
- Secure corporate sponsorships and advertise partnerships to support revenue growth.
- Develop and nurture relationships with youth football organizations, coaches, schools, and athletic directors.
- Recruit vendors and exhibitors for league events and tournaments.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand the business.
- Manage the sales pipeline and the CRM system to track progress and insights.
- Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, and overall revenue performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to convert leads into customers.
- Prepare sales reports and recommend strategies for sustained growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience recruiting, coaching, and motivating sales professionals.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Organized, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Experience using CRM software is preferred.
- Sports industry experience is a plus but not required.

Pay
- $74,777.62 - $250,000.00 per year

Compensation
- This is a 100% commission-based leadership position with no cap on earnings.
- Sales Directors earn commissions from qualifying sales generated under the company’s compensation plan while leading and developing a team of 20 Sales Associates.
