Job Description

The Sales Director will lead the growth of MF7L by recruiting, training, and managing a 20-person sales team, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for a national youth football league.

Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee a team of 20 Sales Associates, from recruitment through ongoing coaching and management.
  • Lead regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Set clear sales goals and hold team members accountable for achieving results.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, discipline, and continuous improvement across the sales function.
  • Generate new team registrations for MF7L events and leagues.
  • Secure corporate sponsorships and advertise partnerships to support revenue growth.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with youth football organizations, coaches, schools, and athletic directors.
  • Recruit vendors and exhibitors for league events and tournaments.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand the business.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and the CRM system to track progress and insights.
  • Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, and overall revenue performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to convert leads into customers.
  • Prepare sales reports and recommend strategies for sustained growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, and motivating sales professionals.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Experience using CRM software is preferred.
  • Sports industry experience is a plus but not required.

Pay

  • $74,777.62 - $250,000.00 per year

Compensation

  • This is a 100% commission-based leadership position with no cap on earnings.
  • Sales Directors earn commissions from qualifying sales generated under the company’s compensation plan while leading and developing a team of 20 Sales Associates.
