Job Description

Wheatland Village is seeking a Sales Director for Senior Living to drive occupancy goals, reinforce the community brand, and build meaningful relationships with partners, prospects, and families. This onsite role in Walla Walla, WA offers an hourly wage of $27-31 per hour and the opportunity to plan events that spark interest while ensuring compliance with standards in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the community’s sales and marketing plan in collaboration with leadership.
  • Engage in marketing education to stay informed about available resources and the competitive landscape.
  • Oversee the Welcome Home entry process and maintain the lead-tracking database.
  • Offer engaging tours for referral sources and prospective residents’ families.
  • Partner with, train, supervise, and guide the Sales Team workflow.
  • Assess the performance of Sales Associates and provide coaching as needed.
  • Lead and coordinate community outreach and events.
  • Represent the community at seminars and conferences to raise awareness.
  • Make outbound calls to referral sources, potential residents, and other local resources.
  • Create and deliver sales and educational presentations for prospective business opportunities.
  • Grow the business by cultivating relationships with physicians, medical professionals, senior organizations, special interest groups, assisted living facilities, and other referral sources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Knowledge of rules, regulations, and guidelines governing assisted living facilities.
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet proficiency.

Technologies

  • Workday typically eight hours.

Supervision

This position supervises the Sales Team.

Working Conditions

  • May involve interactions with hostile or emotionally upset residents and family members.
  • Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Travel to different communities and medical facilities within the assigned area.
