Sales Manager
Job Description
Sales Manager role based onsite in Nampa, Idaho, with an annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 160,000 and a focus on national revenue growth and leadership of a small national team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nationwide revenue initiatives and set growth strategies to drive top-line results.
- Manage Manufacturer’s Representative partners and direct accounts, establishing short and long term sales plans.
- Foster positive relationships with Manufacturer’s Rep groups to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets.
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to grow house account and web channel sales.
- Design and refine sales processes and compensation structures in collaboration with management.
- Recommend product or service enhancements to boost customer satisfaction and expand sales in residential and commercial markets.
- Plan, develop, and deliver training for sales reps on HVAC accessories, promotions, and events to strengthen nationwide customer relationships.
- Monitor competitor products and relay insights to leadership to inform market share strategies.
- Facilitate training and ensure resources are available to empower sales teams to sell the full range of offerings.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment with Manufacturer’s Reps.
- Coordinate with internal staff to garner support and maintain clear communication.
- Lead and contribute to new product development and manage the product launch process.
- Advance HVAC application knowledge and tool proficiency across the sales force.
- Partner with Operations to define performance criteria that meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and execute a multi-year sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead in business reviews and cross-functional meetings such as monthly operating reviews and S and OP processes.
- Assess market dynamics and industry trends to inform business needs.
- Contribute to annual financial planning and the five-year strategic planning process.
- Participate in or manage online sales strategy.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience.
- 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Willing and able to travel 20 percent or more across the United States to support the national Manufacturer’s Rep network.

Experience
- Progressive Sales experience: 5 years required
- HVAC experience: 2 years preferred
- Manufacturer Rep sales experience: 2 years preferred
