Sales Manager
Job Description
Bobyard is looking for a Sales Manager to lead a pod of 4 Account Executives in San Francisco, CA (onsite, 4 days/week). This is a full-time role focused on hands-on deal support, coaching cadence, and forecast and pipeline discipline, with an emphasis on helping build a high-performing outbound motion.
You will help drive performance through weekly coaching, pipeline reviews, and structured 1:1s, while partnering across Customer Success and Product to improve handoffs and clarify what the market is truly asking for. Bobyard also offers compensation designed to recognize the people who deliver results.
What you will do
- Run a weekly coaching cadence for a pod of 4 Account Executives, including structured 1:1s, call reviews, and pipeline reviews
- Join live deals to shape strategy and provide a second seat for negotiation support when needed
- Own forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene, building data-driven territory and pipeline models to support team planning
- Hire and ramp new AEs, and develop a repeatable ramp playbook
- Coach reps on cold-outbound pipeline generation, ensuring the team generates pipeline rather than relying on inbound
- Partner with Customer Success on handoff quality and with Product on what contractors are actually asking for
- Conduct sales operations analysis to identify what is working, what is not, and adjust the sales motion based on findings
What you bring
- 5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, with a documented track record of 100%+ quota attainment as an individual contributor
- 2+ years managing quota-carrying Account Executives
- Strong comfort with coaching cold-outbound pipeline generation, not limited to inbound lead management
- A specific, articulable coaching philosophy, including how you run 1:1s and forecast conversations
- Salesforce fluency and forecasting discipline, including knowing your number and why it lands there
- Comfort selling into or coaching sales to a technical, operational buyer
Tools
- Salesforce
Compensation & benefits
- Compensation Range: $155K - $170K (yearly)
- Competitive benefits: 401K and equity options
- Competitive, top-of-market compensation, with performance-based rewards alongside thoughtful tailoring based on role, experience, and contributions
- The chance to help build what the company intends to be the fastest-growing vertical SaaS startup ever
Nice to have
- Experience selling into construction, field services, or another vertical with a skeptical, ROI-driven buyer
- Experience hiring and ramping a team from scratch rather than inheriting an existing team
- Familiarity with a structured sales methodology
