Sales Manager/Funeral Director
Job Description
The Sales Manager / Funeral Director will recruit, train, and lead a sales team responsible for growing pre-planned funeral services, delivering in-person and occasional virtual presentations to leads provided by the Cremation Society of Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales force
- Deliver in-person and occasional virtual sales presentations to the target market
- Uphold a high standard of service quality and ethics as the organization maintains the gold standard in the industry
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and motivate the sales team to convert leads provided at no cost
Requirements
- A valid State Funeral Director license is required (applies to most states)
- Adhere to industry rules, regulations, and best practices
- Valid driver’s license with ability to operate within the designated territory
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of compassion and integrity
- Strong problem solving and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with computers and the use of technology while meeting with families

Compensation
Base salary range: USD 85,000 - 100,000 per year
Total compensation (base plus commission): USD 85,000 - 100,000+ per year with no cap on earnings potential
