Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and negotiate rate structures to maintain profitability.
- Relationship management: serve as the primary transportation liaison between clients and TLD, delivering first-rate service that converts one-time loads into lasting partnerships.
- Drive business development: proactively seek new shippers and build a robust pipeline through daily outbound activity.
- Customer partnership: prospect and engage with shipping partners daily to grow the business and ensure every load is covered with safety-first standards.
- Assist the Sales Manager with preparing sales forecasts that incorporate historical results and future assumptions.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in logistics, brokerage, or carrier sales (Required).
Experience
- High-volume inside sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Logistics, brokerage, or carrier sales: 1 year (Required)
- Prior B2B sales or logistics: 1 year (Preferred)
