Job Description
US Express Carriers seeks a Transportation and Logistics Business Development Agent to grow refrigerated, dry, and hazmat freight in truck transportation.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships for refrigerated, dry, or hazmat trucking services
- Develop and sustain strong customer relationships across the freight portfolio
- Perform market research to spot trends, opportunities, and competitive insights
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Lead contract negotiations and formalize agreements with clients
- Track interactions and progress using CRM software
- Design and implement strategic growth plans to expand the business
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of transportation business development experience
