AEROSPACE MANAGER SALES DEVELOPMENT
Job Description
The Aerospace Manager Sales Development reports to the VP of Sales Development and oversees the customer sales and support organization, handling pricing evaluation, proposal development, market trend analysis, contract review, and conflict resolution while conducting sales and business development through customer engagements.
Responsibilities
- Generate current and future revenue by pursuing new business opportunities while expanding and maintaining existing accounts
- Identify and monitor business opportunities using external databases
- Review and analyze customer requests for information, solicitations, and requests for proposal
- Lead the Capture team in the development of customer proposals
- Research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Promote capabilities and product portfolio during customer engagements
- Perform contract reviews and initiate post award communications with customers
- Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Provide tactical support to the VP of Sales Development
- Manage the Customer Support Specialists
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Basic technical knowledge of the manufacturing process
- Excellent ability to work within a team while fostering relationships with both internal and external customers
- Proven working experience as a Sales development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, 365 Teams, CRM and SAP
- Proficiency in English
- Market knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- Experience with FARs and DFARs
