Assistant Branch Manager - Sales Manager Trainee

Republic Finance, LLC is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager (Sales Manager Trainee) for an 18–24 month paid, on-the-job training program with a clear path to Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Source new consumer loan opportunities by reaching out to current and prospective customers and actively listening to understand needs.
• Recommend suitable consumer loan options and voluntary product solutions based on customer requirements.
• Educate customers on consumer lending services, including credit improvement and strategies to consolidate debt.
• Guide customers through the loan application process and support loan payment reminder outreach as needed.
• Review loan applications, conduct risk analysis, make credit decisions, and support loan closings.
• Administer insurance claims as part of the lending process.
• Partner with the Branch Manager on recruiting and training efforts.
• Help develop and implement plans to meet branch sales goals while reinforcing core values.
• Support an outstanding customer experience across branch operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred majors include Business, Finance, Sales, or related fields.
• 1+ year of customer-facing sales experience preferred (retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive-based), though not required.
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude, strong communication, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance, plus a satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history and credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet insurance licensing eligibility requirements to sell voluntary insurance products; eligibility is based on a criminal background check by the state’s department of insurance.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion to Branch Manager; a full relocation package is provided for moves more than 50 miles.

Compensation

• $45,000 per year (paid hourly)
• Uncapped monthly bonus; averages $8,000 annually

Training & Career Path

• 18–24 month on-the-job paid training program to learn branch operations and management.
• Promotion to Branch Manager typically requires relocation.
• Full relocation package provided when promoting ABMs to Branch Managers.
