Assistant Sales Manager - HVAC

ARs-Rescue Rooter is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager for HVAC in Norcross, GA. This onsite role supports daily sales operations by coaching HVAC Opportunity Technicians, strengthening the handoff to Comfort Advisors, and using performance data to improve lead quality and conversions.

Working as part of Allgood Home Services in partnership with American Residential Services, you will help ensure service-to-sales processes run smoothly, technicians are equipped to communicate effectively, and the team is ready to handle opportunity flow based on capacity and customer needs.

What you’ll do

• Coach Opportunity Technicians on identifying customer needs, documenting findings accurately, and explaining repair and replacement options.
• Review service calls and opportunity tickets, including photos and recommendations, to improve lead quality and customer communication.
• Manage technician schedules and lead meetings, including call reviews, training, and performance coaching.
• Improve handoff across Opportunity Technicians, Lead Coordinators, and Comfort Advisors to keep the customer experience consistent.
• Support Comfort Advisor onboarding and training, manage lead handling, and provide sales team coverage when the Sales Manager is unavailable.
• Assist Comfort Advisors with phone closing, follow-up activities, and challenging customer situations.
• Monitor lead flow and help distribute opportunities based on customer needs, team capacity, and business requirements.
• Use sales and operational metrics to identify performance gaps and drive conversion improvements.

What you bring

• HVAC industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous sales leadership, service leadership, or field supervisory experience is preferred.
• Understanding of residential HVAC service and replacement sales.
• Experience coaching technicians, sales professionals, or both.
• Ability to use performance metrics to guide coaching and improve results.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Pay & location

• Location: Norcross, GA (onsite)
• Compensation: USD 90,000 - 120,000 per year
