Job Description

This onsite role combines hands-on training with daily CRM usage, a base hourly rate plus commission, and a clear path for growth in Highland, MI. You will help connect online inquiries with our sales and service teams to drive showroom visits and meaningful conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage web based inquiries and leads, coordinating with our existing customer data and inbound calls from prospects and customers visiting the dealership websites and related sources.
  • Learn and apply our lead management, sales, and service approach to deliver an outstanding customer experience and connect customers to the appropriate team.
  • Utilize both traditional and internet-focused automotive sales and service processes to move prospects through the funnel.
  • Communicate with prospects via email, telephone, and text in alignment with dealership standards.
  • Schedule dealership appointments, achieve lead-to-visit conversions, and promote products according to department guidelines.
  • Enter all prospect communications, notes, records, and appointment data into the CRM, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Maintain daily tracking boards for internet sales updates and activity.
  • Prepare reports on appointments scheduled and kept, as well as sales activity based on leads received.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings for both the dealership and the eSales team.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of customer service experience (no automotive experience required).
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word and Excel, and familiarity with Internet Explorer.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
