Job Description
This senior leadership position sits within Booz Allen Hamilton’s Engineering & Science team, directing business development and technical solutioning for a Navy client. The role is based onsite in Crane, Indiana, and includes serving as the primary client contact while overseeing contract execution and delivery. The position carries a wide range of responsibilities and requires substantial government and maritime domain experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead as a senior member within Booz Allen’s engineering and science team to drive business development and guide technical solutioning for engineering, research and development, integration, and development opportunities for a Navy client.
- Develop, socialize, and implement a robust growth strategy to expand the client’s business and act as the primary client contact.
- Collaborate with market-team peers and external clients to build a strong pipeline, drive new business growth, and oversee proposal and business development activities.
- Challenge the baseline business and conceptualize new capability ideas for future growth based on client needs.
- Cultivate and maintain local relationships across industry and government.
- Propose innovative technical solutions to address client challenges.
- Direct all phases of contract execution and delivery, with responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance, including planning, resourcing, hiring, and risk management to ensure successful technical outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading capture activities for government acquisitions
- 5+ years of experience performing technical or engineering work in the surface maritime domain
- 5+ years of experience supervising large teams (50+ personnel) performing diverse tasks
- 5+ years of experience developing and executing business strategies to achieve quality growth
- Experience maintaining client and industry relationships across the US Navy
- Knowledge of DoD government contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes
- Knowledge of Navy Warfare Centers and Syscoms
- Ability to engage in technical discussions that showcase Booz Allen capabilities and how to solution against a broad set of client problems, including use of Artificial Intelligence, moving to a digital environment, basic unmanned vehicle and counter-unmanned concepts, and spectrum warfare systems
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is USD 142,900 to 266,000 per year. Final salary is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Work Model
