Business Development Coordinator
Job Description
Hybrid role in Sacramento, CA with an annual salary of USD 65,000 - 85,000, focused on growing Nurse Next Door Greater Sacramento through referral partnerships, relationship building, and marketing collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target new referral partners including hospitals, rehab centers, assisted‑living facilities, physician groups, and community organizations.
- Build and nurture relationships through on‑site visits, Lunch and Learns, presentations, and networking events to raise visibility and trust.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with decision‑makers who refer clients across private, public, and nonprofit sectors.
- Educate stakeholders on how Nurse Next Door Greater Sacramento improves outcomes, reduces readmissions, and supports family caregivers; deliver trainings on dementia and Parkinson’s care.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop brochures, digital content, and slide decks for prospects.
- Maintain a weekly cadence of visits to key targets and align messaging with the 52 Week Marketing program.
- Monitor market intelligence including competitor activity, industry trends, and referral conversion data; share insights with leadership.
- Generate and qualify leads via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and community outreach to build a qualified pipeline.
- Represent services at trade shows, conferences, and networking events; cultivate additional lead sources through industry connections.
- Coordinate with care coordination to perform client assessments, input care plans into the CRM, and ensure timely onboarding and ongoing satisfaction; troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Maintain and manage the CRM to track leads and follow up on activities.
- Record activity using tracking sheets and submit weekly to the manager.
- Aim to meet and exceed monthly referral, revenue, and growth targets with strategic thinking and creativity.
- Meet with the manager weekly to review opportunities, referrals status, and activity.
Requirements
- Preferred LMSW or LBSW; Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, LPN, or RN considered.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or community outreach; healthcare or home‑care experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; comfortable meeting new people.
- Self‑starter who enjoys setting strategies and executing the details.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/Sales platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Reliable transportation for frequent local travel; valid driver’s license.
- Passion for improving lives and representing services that make a difference.
- Experience with the elderly preferred.
- Genuine passion for serving seniors is required.
