Job Description

The Business Development Manager role at Logistics One focuses on building and managing client and carrier relationships, negotiating pricing, coordinating daily shipments, and applying market insight to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client and carrier relationships through proactive outreach, qualification, and closing deals in a dynamic sales environment
  • Leverage negotiation skills to establish competitive rates with both carriers and shippers, securing mutually advantageous terms
  • Oversee daily shipment operations, ensure timely pickup and delivery, and promptly address any issues
  • Monitor market data to stay current on industry trends and market dynamics

Requirements

  • Track record of selling full truckload (FTL) transportation services
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable navigating situational ambiguity
  • Ability to operate in a technology-forward office environment
