About the role
AWS Healthcare Industry BU engages in senior business development to drive revenue and adoption with healthcare providers by building strategic ISV partnerships and cloud solutions. This onsite role in Boston focuses on expanding cloud capabilities within the healthcare ecosystem, supporting HealthTech modernization, and guiding provider migrations from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a core member of the Philips Global Account team to shape the AWS partner strategy
- Maintain a broad understanding of cloud technologies and the surrounding ecosystem
- Act as the custodian of AWS Marketplace in your country, driving ISV adoption, listings, and go-to-market motions through the Marketplace channel
- Develop and execute the strategic business development plan in partnership with internal teams such as sales, marketing, legal, and support
- Collaborate with specific prospects and partners to articulate the business value of AWS services and enable their use of AWS solutions
- Negotiate and close SaaS contracts with customers directly and via partners, managing complex commercial engagements end-to-end
- Establish and nurture the business development pipeline by engaging with prospects and key customers
- Prepare and present business reviews to senior management on progress against plan and potential blockers
- Manage complex contract negotiations and coordinate with the legal group
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of the market strategy
Requirements
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- 7+ years of experience with Core Cloud Technology Services, including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking
- 7+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences industry
- 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- 7+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
