Accenture is seeking a Microsoft Ecosystem Business Development Director to drive growth within its Microsoft practice from its New York, NY onsite location. The role focuses on originating, shaping, and advancing opportunities across Microsoft AI, data, customer experience, security, and industry platforms, while serving as a trusted advisor to clients, Microsoft leadership, and Accenture account teams. The position aims to articulate the joint value of Microsoft and Accenture in executive conversations about business transformation, AI adoption, and data modernization. Salary range: USD 122,700 - 302,400 per year.
Responsibilities
- Forge and implement integrated growth plans with Accenture and Microsoft, aligning co-sell motions for assigned accounts.
- Establish executive relationships with Microsoft Partner Development Managers, Customer Engineers, Industry Leaders, and Account Teams.
- Originate opportunities that leverage Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate with Accenture and Avanade Microsoft leadership to expand the pipeline.
- Lead executive workshops, innovation sessions, and value realization discussions.
- Create business cases and ROI narratives linking technology investments to measurable business outcomes.
- Influence Microsoft leadership to position Accenture as the preferred transformation partner.
- Develop differentiated industry solutions, thought leadership, and joint offerings aligned to Microsoft priorities.
- Enable Accenture and Microsoft field teams with joint value propositions and strategic growth plays.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of business development, sales, alliance, or consulting experience.
- Minimum 10 years of complex pursuit management and opportunity development experience.
- Experience selling or shaping enterprise technology transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of AI, analytics, data, customer experience, or cybersecurity solutions.
- Proven executive relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if Associate’s Degree, at least 6 years of work experience.
