Business Development Manager – Cloud & AI Enterprise Sales
Job Description
SAILGLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead Alibaba Cloud Global Key Accounts in the US. Based in Sunnyvale, CA, this role centers on selling enterprise cloud infrastructure and GenAI solutions to Fortune 500 clients, while cultivating strategic AI partnerships and driving revenue across high-growth verticals. The position is anchored onsite in the Sunnyvale office.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for high-value cloud opportunities within assigned Key Accounts, from prospecting through qualification and closing.
- Engage with C-suite executives, map decision-makers, and build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and VPs.
- Demonstrate the business value and ROI of AI-native architectures and the Tongyi and Qwen GenAI model suites to large enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and product engineering teams to design tailored cloud strategies and oversee post-implementation delivery.
- Monitor client roadmaps, IT budgets, and technology trends to proactively introduce scalable sales frameworks.
Requirements
- Five or more years of direct experience in cloud computing sales, enterprise SaaS software, or advanced technology business development.
- Proven track record of scaling technology sales programs for Fortune 500 or large-scale enterprise accounts.
- Hands-on experience guiding clients through complex, large-scale cloud migrations and modernization of tech stacks.
- Three or more years of experience leading cross-functional project teams or multi-department tech initiatives.
- Exceptional ability to independently present both strategic business solutions and foundational cloud architecture concepts to executive audiences.

About the Role
Alibaba Cloud’s Global Key Accounts team is expanding with a Business Development Manager to drive enterprise cloud revenue and strategic AI partnerships in the US. The role is based in the Sunnyvale office and focuses on selling complex cloud infrastructure and GenAI solutions to Fortune 500 clients across Technology, Media, Gaming, Manufacturing, and Hospitality sectors.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $156,000 - $255,600 per year. Final pay determined by location, job-related knowledge, and experience.
- Position Type: Full-time, At-will.
