Microsoft Ecosystem Business Development Director

This onsite role in Beaverton, Oregon directs strategic growth for Accenture’s Microsoft business by originating, shaping, and advancing opportunities across Microsoft’s AI, Data, CX, Security, and Industry platforms. You will collaborate with Microsoft leaders, Avanade leadership, and Accenture account teams to demonstrate the combined value of Microsoft and Accenture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute joint Accenture–Microsoft growth strategies and co-sell motions for assigned accounts
• Build executive relationships with Microsoft Partner Development Managers, Customer Engineers, Industry Leaders, and Account Teams
• Originate opportunities involving Microsoft Technologies
• Collaborate with Accenture and Avanade Microsoft leadership to drive pipeline growth
• Lead executive workshops, innovation sessions, and value realization discussions
• Develop business cases and ROI narratives that map technology investments to measurable business outcomes
• Influence Microsoft leadership to position Accenture as the preferred transformation partner
• Create differentiated industry solutions, thought leadership, and joint offerings aligned to Microsoft priorities
• Enable Accenture and Microsoft field teams on joint value propositions and strategic growth plays

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of business development, sales, alliance, or consulting experience
• Minimum 10 years of complex pursuit management and opportunity development experience
• Experience selling or shaping enterprise technology transformation programs
• Strong understanding of AI, analytics, data, customer experience, or cybersecurity solutions
• Proven executive relationship management skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
• If holding an Associate’s Degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling Microsoft Copilot, Github, Fabric and other Microsoft technologies
• Experience originating and shaping AI, Generative AI, data modernization, analytics, or customer experience transformation initiatives in partnership with Microsoft
• Experience working with Global 2000 organizations
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage CIOs, CDAbout, CTOs, CISOs, COOs, and Line-of-Business leaders
