Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a strong prospect pipeline focused on SMBs with 5 to 250 employees across Virginia
  • Lead high-volume, high-quality outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person networking
  • Research target accounts to tailor outreach and demonstrate a solid understanding of the prospect’s business and industry
  • Participate in local chamber events, tradeshows, and community networking to raise brand awareness and build referral relationships
  • Regularly add new leads and log activity in ConnectWise with accuracy and discipline
  • Conduct discovery calls and in-person meetings to learn a prospect’s IT environment, pain points, and business goals
  • Qualify opportunities using a structured framework that considers budget, authority, need, and timeline
  • Identify the appropriate CodeBlue service mix for each client, from monthly managed services to cabling projects and Microsoft 365 deployments
  • Maintain regular contact with prospects through longer buying cycles, focusing on relationship sales rather than transactional wins
  • Represent CodeBlue’s values and brand in every interaction: approachable, knowledgeable, and invested in client success
  • Provide field feedback to help sharpen messaging, services, and go-to-market strategy

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of prospecting and closing new business
  • Active prospecting experience, including cold calling, cold email, social selling, or door-to-door
  • Proficiency with a CRM; ConnectWise experience is a strong plus
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and ability to travel throughout Virginia
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to comply with random drug screening policy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
